They take their responsibility to feed and provice comfort for people displaced by disasters and first responders seriously.

Unless you happened to be living in NC during the last hurricane disaster that hit in the mountains there.

They are going to have to pay for that one...

The quote in the lawsuit is "They placed unlawful restrictions on emergency management grants."

Or truthfully, the Fema workers were told not to help anyone with Trump sign in their yard. I understand that employee was fired. I wonder where he/she got their instructions from?

i hope all those people are put in prison, including the ones following the order. nothing will happen.

All these liberals think alike, whether they admit to it or not.
that's why i don't think people should befriend or do business with them. you're better off trusting a snake.

The apparent lack of response to that one completely amazed me, but then I remembered the response to Sandy for the NE vs. the response for places
like WVa (which also got hit hard by a derecho during that same time frame).

I was not quite as surprised then, but still surprised as NC is usually considered "purple."

There's another restaurant chain in the western US called
Shari's which closed all their locations in my state a couple
years ago.. I miss them. They were similar to Denny's (and
I'm disappointed to see they've closed a lot of locations too).

All the Denny's in the Little Rock, Arkansas Metro area have been
closed down as well. I'm not sure if there are any left. It's like
Shoney's Big Boy and Krystal...they're gone from Arkansas as well.

As for Krystal, you can buy the White Castle burgers in the frozen
food section at many grocery stores. Those are affectionately known
as "gut grenades"...but, I personally love sauteed onions.

Sautee onions on a skillet, make a burger patty next to them. Smash the
patty down, and when you flip it, put it on top of the onions. You get
all of the hamburger grease cooking with the onions.

Slice of american cheese on top a few moments before taking it off, and
don't forget to grill the bun. Perfection.

that's wrong. that's not how you do an onion burger/ white castle style burger. the onions steam the meat and the bun.

When I was a caller, BBSing was a late night activity - once other callers had gone to bed and it was slightly easier to get through.

For me, it was just the opposite. While most people were at work/school, all the boards were freed up. After about 6-7, things got noticeably busier.

Nowadays, I've spent so much time working with ham radio and square
