That's correct. The RLogin protocol only allows the client to pass 3 strings/fields to the server upon connection:
* client-user-name
I got it working, thanks. How do I disable the crazy avatar pictures on newuser login? I can't seem to find where this field is located to disable.
I'm not sure what you're asking. If you want to disable the avatar chooser, you'd do that be deleting or changing the "Execute on Event" setting of SCFG->External Programs->Online Programs->Main->Avatar Chooser.
As detailed here: https://wiki.synchro.net/module:avatars
I'm don't know what's "crazy" about it. <shrug>
Maybe he is suggesting that the Avatar Chooser shouldn't come up if the
rlogin connection contains a terminal type of external program, i.e. the
login is specifically to open a door and not to log onto the bbs?
Maybe it already doesn't but I assumed that is what he meant.
