Log Message:
Preserve unmatched Markdown markers

Treat inline code and bold delimiters as markup only when an
unescaped closing marker exists. This keeps key names such as Ctrl-`
intact in help text instead of dropping the backtick and styling the
remainder as code.

Add parser coverage for unmatched backtick and bold markers.
